MAC x Rocky Horror Picture Show - Fall 2014 Collection! #HYPE

I'm super excited for this collection! I've seen RHPS several times, and it was always a great event - lots of dressing up and lots of cool makeup! I've already got my eye on that blush, and I can't wait to get my hands on these products at the end of the month. And if you've been searching for that perfect red lipstick, maybe now will be the time you finally find it, with four red lipsticks included in the collection!

Check out more information about the collection on InStyle.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki Minaj - Review & Swatches

I'm not even gonna try and build up the suspense here guys - I am IN LOVE with this lipstick! If I were designing a shade of lipstick it would be exactly this color, and as soon as I saw pictures online I knew I had to have it. And there's also the fact that I love Nicki Minaj...

This lipstick is $14.50 from MAC, and 100% of the proceeds go to the company's AIDS fund - so you can buy makeup and feel good about raising HIV/AIDS awareness, too! Plus, how awesome is it that MAC actually donates 100% of the sales to charity - so often you see brands donating 5% or 10% from the sale of a certain item to charity, and while a donation is always good, no matter the amount, it's nice to see brands donating more...I mean, they definitely can afford it!

Anyway, Nicki's lipstick shade is a bright pink with a slight yellow undertone - it's definitely a warmer-toned pink, which is part of the reason I love it. It's a satin finish and feels really smooth and creamy on the lips; the only issue I can think of with this lipstick is that you made need several layers if you have very pigmented lips, but that's probably the case with most lipsticks (I have pretty pigmented natural lips, so I always have to be careful with my lipstick application)!

This shade is definitely a hit for me, and the fact that I'm contributing to a good cause by buying it basically makes it irresistible!

Rating: 10/10 - yup, I adore this lipstick!

Zoya, MAC, and Sephora - Mini Haul

First off, hey loves! Sorry I haven't been posting much, I had midterms and then my spring break started, so I've been all over the place with work and packing and traveling and such. But I picked up a few things at the mall today, as well as m Zoya polishes coming in the mail, so I thought I was long overdue for a post on here!

I snagged the  Zoya Intimate collection back on Women's Day when it was $25 and free shipping, and these colors are just as gorgeous in real life as they were online. Caitlin is a light gray-ish indigo, Dove is just a straight-up light gray, and Marley is a shimmery pink with a touch of purple. Dannii is a darker purple with gold shimmer (it didn't show up too well in the photo, but trust me, the gold is there and it's crazy-sparkly), Gemma is a dark green with a beautiful blue/purple duochrome, and Jules is a sparkly, metallic gold that looks almost taupe-y from some angles (again, the sparkle doesn't show up too well in the picture but it's super shimmery in real life).

I also picked up Stars 'n' Rockets from MAC, because I had heard a lot of great things about this color - this shadow can be so many different shades of purple depending on the angle you look at it, it's insane! And since my bronzer brush from Bare Escentuals had fallen apart, I got a fairly inexpensive ($19) face brush from Sephora to replace it.

So that's all I've collected over spring break thus far, other than a few things from Victoria's Secret which I didn't feel like photographing with my 12 year old brother watching me! ;]

MAC Peacocky: Dalliance and Tweet Me

Hey guys! So I'm loving the new MAC Peacocky collection - I only picked up two colors because there's no way I can afford to blow all my money on makeup right now, but my mom and I drooled over all the gorgeous shades at the MAC counter in Macy's. I had my heart set on getting Dalliance and Tweet Me before I even got there, but Tweet Me was missing from the display; they did have it in stock so someone must have been using the tester for something, but for a second I was really concerned that they weren't going to have it. I mean, just the name alone convinced me that I needed to have it!
(I could have sworn I swatched these two, but apparently not. My camera battery was dying on me while I was taking pictures, so these two were photographed super quickly and I guess I just forgot.)

So later in the day I had to go to my little brother and sister's band concert up at their middle school, so I threw together a simple little look using the two MAC shadows. It's just Dalliance all over the lid, with Too Faced Milk Chocolate (from the Glamour Revolution Palette) on the outer corner (and darkened up a little with a matte black eyeshadow), then Tweet Me along the lower lash line, and tightlined with the MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Engraved. I used CoverGirl Lash Blast on my lashes, but that's mostly personal preference. Super simple, but it looks pretty nice.

Why are my eyes so veiny? Do eyes always look like that or are mine just particularly gross? Clearly I haven't taken a lot of close-ups of my eyes or I would know these things ...
